Initially the aquarium was the first of its kind in the Netherlands where visitors could walk “underwater” through a 12-metre tunnel to enjoy the feeling of being beneath the ocean. From the outset, the aquarium has focused on the theme of life in the North Sea.
A guided tour (on foot or by train; max. 28 people per guide) through the most animal-friendly zoo in the Netherlands. A large number of former circus animals are housed here and prepared for their return to the wild.
